Ultimate Wire Play Day
A new class for Michelle and Jamie that combines over 30 years of skills, technique and design!! We promise it will be wonderful!
My (Jamie's) first meaningful experience with wire was over 13 years ago with my mentor and wire idol, Lynne Merchant, and I recently started studying with her again. With her support, I am going to share my interpretation of finding our creative soul through wire work. My style is free-form, off the cuff and making do with whatever is at hand - my main reason in teaching this class is to find meaning through process and being present in the moment. Problem solving and finding pleasing solutions are my forte!
Michelle excels in beautiful finished projects that will please the eye with sophistication and she focuses on getting things balanced and beautiful. You're sure to benefit from her amazing designs and impressive technical talents! Hands–on step by step assistance is her trademark and she's willing to share all her knowledge with you!
You will enjoy one or BOTH of our styles as we 've been working together for 11 years and will extending that fun to teaching together for the first time in this all day wire class!
Choose from a plethora of projects including wire, metal, riveting,
hammering, and more!
We now start with a "warm-up" project to refresh your skills, teach you
something new, and get your creative juices flowing, so if you arrive with
no ideas, not to worry! We will assist!
Price: $175 (Supplies not included, to be selected in class)
Required Skills: Basic wire wrap skills
Required Tools: WE PROVIDE EVERYTHING! JUST BRING YOUR BASIC WIRE WRAP TOOLS AND ANY OTHER FAVES!
